Mayor Entertainment Network (MEN) presents their very first Artist Aku Solomon musically known as Solebrown.
He is a Nigerian-born based in Ghana.He is an afrobeat Artist and the only son out of a Nuclear family of 12. He started his music career at a very tender age..
He is a level 300 student in Zenith university college, Accra Ghana. (Studying business information system).
He dropped his first single titled “Me & Money” somewhere last year March and ever since it has been making waves all around Gh and its neigbouring Countries.
As we all know, challenges are bound to come and in every challenge God Promises us victory. And also the Success we see, brings many loss. Solebrown, in his quest for success, had his take of this challenges. Life became tough and rough for him because it came to a time where, he had no money to go to the studio and record.
In a Conversation with him about the challenges he faced, this is what he said;
It hasn’t been easy coming out as an Artist.
But I thank God for everything and I’m forever grateful. Because looking at where I started from in benue state, Nigeria and where I am today, it gives me so much joy.
I started music when I was 12. No parent support, no sister support, and no brother or cousin support. I was doing it alone very all alone till I started meeting friends and stuff.
Have never experienced any work in my life before even as tho my parent are not rich. So the little money they give me for school fees I normally divide it just to have money for record.
Along the line, I met so many producers who are not after my interest but theirs just to collect money from me and do a wack work for me.
He recorded his first mixtape titled “Kelelove” and second mixtape “Fashy dem” which was released in the year 2016.
Below was his response when I asked where he sees himself 5 years from now.

He will be releasing his second single titled “Am Sorry” next week Friday.
